I would so coat my car with this...and other things...lots of other things.  I wonder if I would be allowed to coat my rain gear with it...or even my nah not the boots, polish wouldn't stick to them after.

I'd coat a cat with it, then throw it in the bathtub.......just to see the expression when it came out dry. 
 
Saw some similar demos at a concrete trade show I was at a couple of years ago.

It was a good material for water repellency on concrete surfaces, but the applications for keeping tools and equipment clean wasn't as good, due to the abrasive nature of fresh concrete. And hosing them down with water was more economical when you looked at the cost.

But I never considered coating work boots with them. Would keep the number of PO'd hotel cleaning staff down.  ;D
