Good news - a girl kidnapped 18 years ago has been found alive.  Her captors are facing charges.

And, from the news article, one neighbour was identified.  From the neighbour's name, I found her address on 411.com, then found her home on Google Earth.  You can see the backyard compound where she was held:

Was watching this story (the news conference) on the news earlier this evening. WOW.

Just goes to prove that one should always keep the hope alive. I wish her and her family well; her captors - not so much.

Sort of makes you wonder how many more "dungeon dads" are out there?

Good on the parole officer for being so diligent and suspicious.  Just goes to prove that sooner or later, no matter what you've done in your life, it will catch up with you and you will get caught.
From the looks of it, someone watched too much "Silence of the Lambs".  Or maybe the movie was made about this guy??!!  Sicko bas-turd.  :threat:
Luckily the girl never forgot who she was and never lost hope of rescue.  :salute:

Good on the parole officer?  For 18 years she was in the backyard and the parole officers never checked out the backyard of a convicted sex offender?

It is reported that "in addition to his wife Nancy he brought along two girls and a woman he called "Allissa" when he visited his parole officer:

He even had the kidnap car stashed in his yard!

Something tells me that the Officer didn't go to the house and property...much or if at all???
YES, the officer should be reprimanded for not doing his job completely, but I gave him kudos because he caught on to the unexplained female presence.
Might be an eye-opener for other POs to check...nudge-nudge, wink-wink.

I'm just glad the girl is with her family now! and the sick basturd is behind bars!!!      :threat:
