Hey guys, I'm new at this. May 1st, my application file will be reviewed, i will be doing the medical, interview, and finally my physical at a nearby college. They will be done in that order. I'm not worried about the physical as i have been getting into shape for the past year after graduating high school. When my file is then sent out, I will await a call for a BMQ, and as I have been reading these forums quite often, I know that there is no definite answer of when that can be. Oh I'm 19 years old and going NCM, infantry soldier 031. Cool. :cdn:

When did you hand in your application? Is it the May 1st? or did you get the call for your interview stuff on May 1st? Either way good luck. I'm in the same boat. I handed my application in near the end of March and I still haven't heard anything. The guy at the recruiting center I should expect to hear from them at the beginning of April or towards the end of April to do all my tests/interview at the same time. (when they were doing mass interviewing in my town, they have a reserve but no regular recruiting center here) Yet nothing :(

oh well

I showed up May 1st with my application all done, and i got a call to be there for my medical and interview on May10th at 0900. From there , if all goes well, they will send out everything and I'll just be waiting for them to call me for a BMQ. I can't wait either, it seems like everything is going by fast though. I'm from Sudbury, Ontario.

i hope mine doesn't take too long .. im putting all my eggs in one basket.. or so they say lol

Man, a few days for you.. and over a month for me? whats my recruiting center doing....

Well I guess today when i was out, my recruiting centre left a message for me with my mom that it's time for me to book my PT test at the local college. They also said that they have a BMQ date for me to accept, either for St. Jean unless theres an overflow and I get tossed into Borden instead. Regardless of where, I'm calling them asap in the morning to get things done. So far it's been 16 days since I gave them my application. Peace...

Grats!

and sigh for me.. still no call :(
I wonder what they are doing....

it's been a little under a year for me. That was my own fault. I put it off.  :crybaby: Big mistake...

6 months to 1 year is probably average. Just don't sit on the edge of your seat waiting for them to get back to you. Its way to painful.

Ouch, I sent in my last bit of medical papers 3 weeks ago, no sign or anything...  I called but they said soon...  I'll try not to wait for "Soon" anytime "Soon."  Wow confusing...  Anyways, like they say...  "Hurry up and wait!"  Hope it all works out for all of you and hopefully we all get in soon :)

yay finally got a call for my interview/tests. 1 step closer

The recruiting centre called today to tell me I've been accepted for Infantry with PPCLI. I don't know if that is final yet as I haven't even gone to basic yet, but I guess that's where I'm going to end up, and not sure about the battalion. I'd prefer the 3rd, but who am I to decide, I just give my request. They said they would call back soon and tell me when I'll be sworn in and find out my BMQ date. Their guess was that it would be early august or close to it. So its been 31 days from handing in the whole application, to finally being accepted. I'm on the homestretch now. Peace.

Congrats! I was given the offer for Combat Engineer today. I swear in July 19 and I'm off to BMQ Aug. 7. That's probably when you're going too.

Good news man, I'm glad for you. I'm guessing that's the same St. Jean BMQ I'll be going to. Can't wait.

Congrats man.  I been waiting 3 weeks for my medical to come back before they let me do my physical, but after the hurried waiting i'm hoping i'll be outta here late summer!
