Thats great, more goddamn Liberal pricks to ruin this country a little bit more. Let's just wait and see what they think of the age of consent laws were their 14 year old daughter   can be molested by a 45 year old creep. Lets see what they think of this country being a home to all of the worlds terrorists, and were Hezbollah was allowed to fundraise in this country. Lets wait and see how these goddamn liberals like waiting for 6 months for a needed cancer surgery. Lets see how these people feel about the police having to cut response times because of the federal governments underfunding to the RCMP.   :soldier:

I've got a good idea, Alberta should join up with the states, but at the same time the rest of Canada can join up with the more liberal states imagine it. Those states that voted for Kerry can get what they want, and those states that voted for Bush can get what they want. Imagine the beauty of it. No need for problems, because then we'd have a liberal nation, and a conservative nation.

I think thats a better alternative than a bunch of left wing pinko commies swamping Canada. :akimbo:

Sure this country is good to people, except for soldiers, police officers, victims of crime. Actually when you think about it this country is good to anybody thats not a white male. These liberals are spoiled brats, like in my community we have pretty good race relations, nobodies bigoted. All of this harmony is created by people, and not shoved down our throats by the government.   :threat:

If Liberals from the US are allowed to move here, than conservatives should be given free passage to the US since were political refugees :)

Sure this country is good to people, except for soldiers, police officers, victims of crime, western Canadian's

Yes: I'm shocked by the poverty and disenfranchisement I see every time I visit places like Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer and Lethbridge. Some of them may not be able to buy new SUVs next year. People in Eastern Canada are so much better off, especially in Northern Ontario and Newfoundland. I've spent most of my career in the Army of the West, so I have a bit of familiarity with that part of the land. I live in Winnipeg : we 'Peggers enjoy one of the lowest rates of unemployment in Canada, and the second highest rate of economic diversification of any city in Canada. So tell me again how "Western Canadians" are suffering the same way victims of  crime are? Cheers.

Come to BC, we don't even have a full time Army. :'(
-much suffering-

Cheers!

Pug,

Dude!  Next time you're in Calgary, let us know.  We'll go and drink a few regiments under the table...  Likewise, the next time I (or we) tour through BC, we'll see how much trouble we can get in to...  :)

Cheers!

You forgot Fort McMurray, aka "The Rock away from the Rock."

Tell those fine ladies I will be back for my complementary cleavage shooters soon enough!

Hooter shooters, my good man.  They're called hooter shooters...  I'll have them lined up and waiting.  Pug, take a trip out to Cow-town.  I'm sure we could line a few up for you as well...  :)

Only half of it? I gave you too much credit.

Wow it sounds like we got some diehard liberals on here. I've actually looked over it, and I guess I was too aggressive. But I think that when it comes down to it alot of these liberals from the states will find out that were not quite the Utopia they expected. On that website they list all the great things about Canada, and then they will move here and find out its not as great as they expected. I mean do all American's actually think that every single person in this country is a liberal.

The ones I know don't buy into this, but then again they believed me when I told them we JUST abolished slavery this year, and we are now allowed 2 moose per household as pets. ;D

Cheers!

Yeah, I think that all those American's know is that we have a left of centre government and thats about it. They have no idea that we have the same divisions that they do, whether it be conservative versus liberal, west verse east, rural versus urban, etc. I think they would all be better off to stay in their home country, rather than cry like babies about how their refugees since their guy did'nt get elected :crybaby:

You seem to flip-flop ideas quite a bit...  If you could perhaps state what you are trying to say regarding Americans being encouraged to immigrate to Canada, we might be able to continue this conversation...  Otherwise, I think this thread has outlived its usefulness..  IMHO, of course.  :)

Well, the websites are very one sided. Most of them don't highlight any of the problems that Canada is facing regarding healthcare, defense, crime, etc. If those American liberals were to see that Canada is just as divided as the United States then they would re-consider the move to Canada. Plus even in Canada, their are massive regional differences as shown in the last election.

Plus is the United States that bad of a nation to live in. I mean really now, I know that disillusioned called the US a dictatorship but then again the last time I remember American's democratically elected the government.

The USA is a great place to live...that is if you have the money to stay in the upper middle class level.
Below that things get pretty hard.

Gods bless Canada! :cdn:

Cheers!

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say here...  Which websites, and why are we concerned?  As to relating health care, defense, crime etc to the states, that's kind of apples and oranges, isn't it?  There hasn't exactly been an influx of immigration requests from disgruntled voters, I'd imagine people were just saying it for attention...

Is the states that bad to live in?  No.  I know several Americans in America that love it there.  Just as I love living up here.  :)
