No offense to the cat lovers out there, this was actually sent to me by a cat owner.

Cat bowling

Comes complete with witch laughter and scary music!!

Fun!  >:D A lot harder than it looks at first. lol

I played 3 games so far...80, 83, and 98. I jumped too quickly at one point and got a gutter ball...the witch had quite the cackle then!  >:(

OK, I know what I'm going to be doing all evening. Thanks, PMedMoe!  ::)  ;)

I am so hooked!  I had a lot of stuff to do tonight to.

Yay, something to keep be occupied for a bit!

Just scored 186. 6 strikes in that run. Now if only I could be that good at real bowling!

How'd you get such a high score? When the arrow is moving quickly, I have a heck of a time hitting more than 2 cats!  :P

Well, it took me a few tries of course. And I think I just had one lucky game. (I suck at pretty much every game...)

I stay away from stuff like this because even though the cats or animals are not real, how can you claim outrage the next time someone puts a cat in the micowave. Its a bit of a double standard for me, as I play FPS but I will not play a game that even in a joking manner hurts or injures a pet. Have fun and just my two cents.

Cats are symbolic of Hallowe'en. I can't imagine many people would see this game as being about simulated violence against cats. It's just a Hallowe'en bowling game. At Christmastime, there will be "elf bowling". Same idea...Christmas theme.

I will still be outraged when someone hurts an animal, especially something as cruel as microwaving cats! What about the folks who hunt for 'sport' or the ones who declaw cats to protect their furniture? They are hurting real animals.

I see many references on this site about violent video games, and haven't seen anyone comment on the character of the players. Why are games like Call of Duty acceptable and a Hallowe'en game like the one PMedMoe posted not?

I'll spell it out for you CG

H Y P O C R I T E

And I fully acknowledge that often times I myself am one. And I fully plan on declawing my cat I am a monster

Soft Claws! You can buy them at Pets Unlimited and some other pet stores. I have them on my cat and she can no longer scratch furniture or (accidentally) people. Many people don't realize that declawing is digital amputation (like taking off the tip of your finger from the knuckle).  :(

CG before we go off on a tangent I am fully aware of what declawing is, doesn't phase me one bit.

We'll see about that!

Thanks for that info Celticgirl. I'm definitely going to have to look into this option! Do you find they are easy to apply and work really well? This sounds like an awesome idea if it will save my leather furniture!

It is not that difficult to apply them. My kitty doesn't like being held down while I stick them on, but there is nothing painful about it for them. I put them on all 10 claws of her front paws. I don't do the back ones...she needs to be able to scratch herself and they don't scratch furniture with the hind claws anyway. Leather and cats are not a good mix, though, so you might want to rethink that choice at some point in the future. lol ;)  I've heard microfiber is fabulous when you have pets...no scratches and hairs don't stick to it.

Anyway, the nail caps do work very, very well. The key is to check kitty's paws regularly because the caps fall off eventually (after 4-6 weeks usually, but earlier if the cat picks at them), and you need to reapply them individually as they come off. One Soft Claws kit comes with 40 nail caps (4 complete applications).
