Saw some Halloween chat in Politics.

Regarding rage bait showing porch pirates stealing candy.

Not sure why the occupants would leave candy outside in the first place. Unless , perhaps , if no one is home.

We answer the door. Every time.

Candy goes in the bag first. I don't pester them , because , remembering when I was a kid - back when the Earth was cooling lol -we just wanted to move on to the next candy stop ASAP.

Same amount of candy goes in every bag .Regardless of age , or costume. Or, no costume at all.

I don't put any inflatables etc out. Just a pumpkin.

Porch lights off at 9:15 .

Not sure if I'm doing it right. But, works for me.

Some streets get a rep for being dead or stingy. Kids flock to streets where a bunch of parents work together. It changes over time as the kids get older and the parents aren't required for their outings.

There are numerous sites on Facebook made up of serving and former military members that are raging about this guy.  Many are already contacting James Cudmore (above) about this through CBC contact numbers in both Ottawa and Toronto.
