Well here it is , 0745h on 01 Jan 2006! We hosted a NYE party last night, going well into the wee hours. BBQ, Aussie steaks, snags, lamb, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, etc. Beer, whisky, vodka, cylume sticks floating in the pool, and much fun had by all. Music blarring. Steppenwolf, Best of The Guess Who, Alice Cooper KIller, early Kiss etc, even Doug Kershaw barked into the cloudless night, as the Southern Cross beamed down upon us, as we all were floating in the pool, like extras off that Titanic movie.
Just up early now to constuct a Cdn style pancake and bacon breakfast, followed by a trip over to the surfing beach at Woorim.
Todays forcast, sun, sun and more sun, no wind and a top of 31C. BTW, the temperature of The Coral Sea this morning is 28C.
Right now its still NYE in Canada, and I hope you all have a Happy New Year accross Canada and throughout the deployed areas for our Allied Forces too. They won't be partying as there is work to be done. Remember them as you swill and feed yourselves.
Now to make those pancakes.....
