Helicopter Question: NOTAR

Freddy, aside from the NOTAR, the "fenestron" shrouded tail-rotor (IIRC, first used by Aerospatiale, now Eurocopter) is the next quietest tail-rotor system in use today.  They have very similar authority/effectiveness to an open tail rotor.  I think you're right, the quietness of the NOTAR seems to be its biggest benefit...
