Does anyone can help me with the VO2 max formula?

When I run 2500m in about 11:15, my pulse vary between 160 to 175 b/min. I'm 30 years old and I weight 77kg.

1) VO2 max Formula:

VO2 max = (81.4 - (((2 X Age) + (Weight kg) + (b/min)) x 0.12))
VO2 max = (81.4 - ((60 + 77 + (b/min)) x 0.12))

There's something wrong with this formula!

    (44.56) VO2 max = (81.4 - ((60 + 77 + 170) x 0.12))
    (43.36) VO2 max = (81.4 - ((60 + 77 + 180) x 0.12))
    (40.96) VO2 max = (81.4 - ((60 + 77 + 200) x 0.12))
    (39.76) VO2 max = (81.4 - ((60 + 77 + 210) x 0.12))

If I need a VO2 superior than 39, according to this formula, I still pass the test with 200+ beats per minute. There's really something wrong with this formula!

2) VO2 max Formula: (Form DND 2212 12-04, Block F - mCAFT)

VO2 max = 17.2 + (1.29 x (O2 cost)) - (0.09 x (Weight kg)) - (0.18 x (Age))
VO2 max = 17.2 + (1.29 x (O2 cost)) - (0.09 x 77) - (0.18 x 30)

How to determine the O2 cost?

3) Finding Target Heart Rate: (THR)

    220 - Age = A (max HR)
    A X 0.7 (70% max HR) = B (min THR)
    A X 0.9 (90% of max HR) = C (max THR)

    220 - 30 = 190
    190 x 0.7 = 133 (min THR)
    190 x 0.9 = 171 (max THR)

So, if my THR is between 133 and 171 beats per minute, what append if my heart rate is higher (175-180 b/min) during the test? Did I automatically fail?

I have goooogled many hours and I found tons of differents method to calculate VO2 and O2 cost!
Every formula gives me different results... Anyway!

According to aappublications.org, the O2 cost variable is drawn from a chart based on stepping cadence.

Also, The Modified Canadian Aerobic Fitness Test (mCAFT) seems to derive from the Canadian Home Fitness Test (CHFT).

Finally!

This morning, I passed my PT (mCAFT) at CFB Valcartier, so I took the occasion to transcript some critical variables from the instructor chart.

O2 cost variables: (Step Test)

  • Stage 3:  22.0
  • Stage 4:  24.5
  • Stage 5:  29.5
  • Stage 6:  33.6
  • Stage 7:  36.2

VO2 max. Formula: (Form DND 2212 12-04, Block F - mCAFT)

VO2 max. = 17.2 + (1.29 x [O2 cost]) - (0.09 x [Weight kg]) - (0.18 x [Age])

Ex:
VO2 max. = 17.2 + (1.29 x 29.5) - (0.09 x 79) - (0.18 x 30)
VO2 max. = 17.2 + (38.055) - (7.11) - (5.4)

VO2 max. = 42.745 ml/kg/min
