High power bill???

Is that all, including all taxes & fees?  Ontario's rates appear lower, but there are a number of add-ons that double the cost.

(And don't get me started on the "Clean Energy Rebate", an attempt to bribe us with our own money - it's a temporary rebate of about 10% to hide the spike in our bills caused mostly by paying multiples of the market price for so-called renewable energy.)

Don't forget the Wonderful cost of Delivery in Ont. I can spit on 7 hydro dams from my house and I pay upwards of $100-200 a month to have it delivered.

There are few other charges and a nice credit on my monthly bill

Rate Rider at 5.0% 3.56
HST  8.97
BC HST Residential Energy Credit  5.23 CR

Right now we pay $74 a month to BC Hyrdo, but our hot water and heating is taken care of by Natural Gas.
