He’ll probably get promoted. In a normal world the conviction would likely cost the agent his job, but with ICE and this Administration, who knows.

This was an appeal. He was sentenced to two years’ probation not long after the conviction. No idea about what ICE does in terms of conduct proceedings or if he kept his job.In a normal world the conviction would likely cost the agent his job, but with ICE and this Administration, who knows.
Ridiculous.

You'd think so...In a normal world the conviction would likely cost the agent his job, but with ICE and this Administration, who knows.
Looks like he managed to do all the wrong things, all at once ...
Rookie officer sexually assaulted female trainee in police HQ bar
A ROOKIE police officer, who sexually assaulted another probationer and went on a racist rant in the bar in Police Scotland’s headquarters, has been sentenced to unpaid work.
Connor Smith’s racist diatribe was triggered by seeing someone going to a mosque wearing prayer robes.
The wannabe police officer, who has since quit the force, then talked about “sucking d***” at prayers and shooting Pakistanis, disgusting his fellow probationers.
The incident took place in a smoking area at the Copper Lounge bar on the police HQ and training centre complex at Tulliallan Castle.

Police recruit to call centre employee. It seems he would have made a fine police officer.
Unless his actions were out of the blue with no warning flags, it seems their recruitment/background procedure might need some help. I would hope that the fact that he was gay did not override any other considerations.
Maybe it should be part of their training that all recruits are observed getting drunk.
