How far can a soldier, wearing full combat gear, fall without being injured? The same into water?
Also, can a soldier exit a LAV at full throttle and escape with no significant damage?
I'm wondering, because there's a BF2 mod, http://www.realitymod.com/, and they seem to think that it's little over 10 feet. Also, sliding down hills in Afghanistan maps can also cause injury. Dropping say, 15 feet, will wound the player. Then they'll start bleeding. Eventually, without a medic coming over, they'll become wounded (basically dead, but still revivable). So essentially, the gameplay mechanics put a 15 foot drop (even if they're prepared for the drop), or probably around 20 into water, can mortally wound you. My explanation's pretty weak, and you need to have some knowledge of BF2 mechanics to know WTF I'm talking about.
But in summary; this accurate? Can a soldier drop 15 feet, onto concrete, and continue fighting. I'm looking for some conclusive answers (please, no depends how you fall), just in general.
