How long are eye exams good for?

How long is the information good for? Six months or one year?

if you notice a change in your eyes.....then they should be rechecked......entering the military.....I believe they do the check during recruitment......usually those that need eye wear....every two years

Basically, if you are already in the military, every 2 years. As of June 06 before I released (I spent 4 years at a recruiting center), if you are applying (NOT a component transfer) depending on how bad your eyesight is, an eye exam is good for one year (unless policy has changed since then).

Thanks, the medic and I got to talking about things like laser eye surgery and I forgot how long he said the information from an eye exam was good for.
