How long will it take me to make Lance Corporal?

Hey,

I am planning on joining the army ASAP after I finish high school, but I am planning on going to University after on year of service. Will I be able to make the rank Lance Corporal in about fourteen months (including the nine weeks of Basic Training)?

No such rank in the CF.

I don't know where you got your information. As the post above me said, there is no such rank, but BMQ is 14 week course not 9. I think your source is severely out dated.
