So, my son just left for BMQ.  He was told he beat out thousands of other applicants to be offered a position.  Anyone know the stats on that?  How many applications and how many accepted each year?  Just curious.

I just had my enrolment ceremony and was told that 1 in 10 people are chosen out of around 40,000 applicants a year.

Father of another Recruit.  Arrived at BMQ October 10th .

40,000 applicants annually......5000 candidates enrolled....as per Commanding officer here in Ottawa.....approx. 12% success rate.
