CF PhotoDefence's "immediate family" comprises more than 100,000 Canadians, including the members of the Regular Force and the Reserve Force, the Canadian Rangers and the civilian employees of Defence. The department also supports the Canadian Cadet Movement and the Junior Canadian Rangers.

It includes:

62,000 members of the Regular Force
22,000 members of the Reserve Force
20,000 civilians
3,600 Canadian Rangers
