How to delete my account?

As the subject says.... looking for a way to delete my account. I can't seem to find anything in the settings.

I can remove your account, but first I typically double check and see if you are sure that you want to proceed. Account deletion cannot be undone, nor will you be able to return under a new account. There are often less destructive solutions, so if you're willing I'd be interested in hearing the reasons behind the request (happy to continue via PM vs. public post as well). Maybe there is something we can do short of deletion, or at the very least, your feedback may be useful - especially if it is regarding a negative experience here.

If you would still like me to move forward with the account removal, just let me know and I can proceed.

No real deactivation method, if you want to pause you can just not log in until/unless you want to come back. If you want to clean up any publicly identifiable details I can delete/change so or all of your profile.

Mike's busy so if you need posts cleared send one of us a PM with links and we can remove them and nested quotes. None of this fixes waybackmachine but can give you some peace of mind.

It seems the poster is still interested in the site. From the "Ham radio - PLAR for sig ops possible" thread, yesterday.

Why sig ops? Not even sure if they are spec. But they are affectionately known as infantry with radios. Why not cyber, sig int, sig tech, ist or atis? Sig op, from friends who were and ot to more technical trades, tell way more army than radios and tech. I get to do fun things, no can't elaborate. But get to flex my tech skills everyday in a chill environment. Treated like an adult, but adult with a government tech fund. Lol.
