See attached - its a pic of a temp grave site for Canadian KIAs from the Battle of Bourlon Wood.
Right after Nov 11, 1918 (I believe) phot teams visited sites of interest to the Battalions that served overseas and produced up to 100 images per unit
If you see any marked 54th Bn or 102nd Bn please send me a PM - some of these have grid refs on them that look like this
X.11.a.5.9 ------> which is a site near the Somme Battle Area at Courcellete France --- the variants could be like this
x.11.a.55.95 as well
