I missed a call from the recruiting centre today!!

I got home from work today and had a message on my machine saying,

Good morning, this call is for Tom. Tom its seargent ________ calling from the recruiting centre. Can you give me a call back as soon as possible? The number is___-____.

Could this be my call?


(I was merit listed on may 13 this year for reg force 1 infantry 2 combat engineer 3 aircraft structures tech)

Wow I don't think I could take that kind of suspense over the weekend...I'd be goin nuts waiting for Monday to come

I got a call like that the other day. I couldn't get through on the number when I tried to call back, so I just went down to the recruiting centre and talked to them face to face. They were calling about my name because I'm in the process of a name change, and also to scheduale me to write the aptitude test (on tuesday!!! )  That was all it was for me

i called back today and got the good news
i get sworn in on august 25
and leave for basic on sept 7

3 months on the merit list
