In essence, what's your 2-year plan to win a majority government?

Policy?
Leadership?
Marketing?
Intangibles?

time for a new horse out front. Harper is ok but not going to make major inroads anywhere let alone Ontario.  They need a Mike Harris or someone of similar calibre who has no ties to the former reform party, that scares everyone off.  Also not sure why everyone is so worried about Quebec separating.  I for one am sick of feeling like we have to bribe Quebec to stay part of Canada, I on the other hand believe that Canada is a great country and they should feel honored to be a part of it instead of scheming ways to get out of it.  Just my opinion though.

A major reason why the conservatives were easily defeated in 1992 was because they alienated the west. You might as well say no westerner's should even consider becoming the leader as that is what it comes off as. As for Quebec seperating, it could very well happen with all the BS in Ottawa, the same can go with Alberta as I'm sure lot's of people here are going to be pissed off, especially if the Liberal's win again.

don't get me wrong I don't want Quebec to separate, I also don't want money spent trying to convince them to stay either.

Viva conservative party, the only real solution for a more powerful canada in the world!

Value
honor
family
immigration
best share of money ressource.

I'm from quebec city and i vote conservative, sure!

Daniel,

Thanks for the post, could you possibly offer us some insight as to how Quebecers might feel if Canada reelected the Liberal party? We get very little coverage from Quebec but what I have been hearing from the Liberals here is that a vote for the COnservatives is a vote for separation.
