Captain Jim Roberts passed away November 2007 after a lengthy battle with colon cancer.
Jim was an outstanding and dedicated soldier who had accumulated over 38 years of service.
Jim is survived by his wife Angie and son Joel.
***********************************************************************************************

Jim was a good friend and one hell of a guy. A true blackhatter til the end. Rose to the rank of CWO then CFR'd. I had the pleasure of serving with him in Pet and Lahr in the early 70's when we were both Corporals.
Angie is a sweetheart and Joel is an upstanding young gentleman. If anyone can get away for the time, I would appreciate it as a personal favour to someone that gave his best years guiding and molding so many of our soldiers, in a good way.

So that's what it was they were building there. Glad to see its being properly dedicated.
