Hi everyone,
I absolutely hate applying for jobs, and this one is no exception. There's so much testing and paperwork and waiting... it's enough to make my stomach turn, and I haven't even begun the process yet. :-[
There's so much to prepare for... I am already working on physical training (I can do 3 chin ups
)
I have a BSc in computer science, but my GPA is very low, about 2.24 (out of 4) which is slightly under a C+. This was because of a depression which I have gotten past (ie the reason for it no longer applies, and I'm off of medicine) and not because of a lack of aptitude. I expect my CFAT score to reflect this. I always do really well on tests (I rarely score below 150-160 on IQ tests), but I am going to spend time preparing for it anyway. My credit history is not great, again because of the depression, but it is salvageable and I have time to work on it anyway. I wasn't that concerned with it until I realised that they want to check that too.
I have references ready for when I will need them, and my health is normal except for the depression history, and an issue which may need surgery in about a year or so. After that I will be fine. It's because of it that I expect to have to wait to even *begin* my application, but I am trying to look into how that affects me. What I'd really like is if I could just apply now and deal with that when it comes up, so I can overlap the waiting time a little, but oh well. :
Oh yeah, I plan to be a DEO, most likely CELE, but I am flexible and open minded.
