Infantry Tactics

How did you sustain that? Pretty quick withdrawal after hitting your target or did your Ech move up to you?
The biggest initial sustainment challenge was my firebase as we were necessarily very light on the infil. I was worried the break in might fail if my FB ran out of ammo. Soldiers carried armour in their day bags and only geared up in the ORV as it was very hot and i had them moving quickly to help mitigate against detection by en UAS. Fortunately I had two troops of "armour" attached one of which was an assault troop mounted in UTVs. The assault troop was tasked to eliminate an enemy OP as the attack was launched and then to shuttle ammo to my firebase. Those UTVs can carry a lot of C6 ammo :) Our echelon (milcots) moved to a concealed hide near our planned consolidation location and then met us there off the X after the hit. Most of the initial moves were coordinated by timings (EMCON 2 during infil) with one instance where I had to link up with a patrol on the move who went off route.

Neat. Armour in our golf carts is so bloody embarassing for us lol. One of my guys was fresh off his assault trooper course and would have been in those UTVs. Heard good things about Western Sabre this year from him.

And this is a great example of what we probably need to get really good at in the future, in a variety of different conditions.
