I'm looking to pick up an inflatable boat. Something that would take about 700 - 800 lbs in weight. Easy enough for two guys to carry, small package, hard floor and a motor transom for a small outboard.

Any experience, memories or suggestions?

Cheers

Finally settled on this one

Looks like a robust little unit, FJ. What motor are you getting?

I had the 320 LX with aluminum floor and a 9.9hp on it. Decent unit.

$3.5-4K for a 9.9 is crazy! (Although that’s for aYamaha)

Maybe Ill make one of those 15 ft asian weed wacker ones they hook to their canoe like boats, in the James Bond films. Those things really move a boat.

After looking into battery weight and price, figuring thrust v speed and motor price, I decided against an electric motor.

I found a new 4 hp, 4 stroke for about $790 all in. Not anything well known but simple to use, light weight and should be simple to repair if needed.
