Initial aircrew

Well today was a good and bad day. So my aircrew finally came back from DRDC and now the CDU wants me to come in for an appointment to tell me the result. Now the problem is they are booking into january and I need the results for my component transfer.

It's a 15 minute appointment that I have to wait months for. I don't understand why they can't just show it to me. Its about me isn't it?

Does anyone know where I can turn to, to find out if its a yay or nay. That's all I need to know.

To put it bluntly, you don't really need to know. The results will be sent to DMCA and added to your file. If you have been found medically fit you will be sent an email directing you what to do next. If you were not fit you'll get call to come in so they can tell you to pick a trade your fit for.

Well dmca are the ones that told me to contact them when I was told I was medically fit.

Only a Dr can go over the file with you, IIRC.  Because it is medical (confidential) information, they just can't have Sally at the front desk pop your file open.

Explain the situation, maybe they just can't get you in quicker.  Leave your name/number and tell them you will take ANY cancellation they get for a slot.

What MOC are you trying to CT into?

Trying to get AES OP.

Tried leaving my number but she said something that there isn't any cancellations and when there is they do something else with the time. Didn't really understand.

And I understand about the doctor and confidential and all that but you have to admit that waiting 3 months for a 15 minute appointment is a little rediculous

Well quick talk through the chain of command and got me an appointment Friday. Hopefully it will be good

Got back from the hospital, finally found out that my medical has been approved. Now ready for the next step in the process.
