Iran Super Thread- Merged

Right, and the dumb bastards apparently didn’t think of fertilizers, or petrochemical feedstock for generic medications… A failure to view Hormuz through anything but an oil lens is excusable at some levels, but not at the level of those who make decisions about going to war and managing the consequences thereof.
Israel and the US (predominantly the former) have had to bear most of the costs of Iran's troublemaking for the past almost-five-decades. Almost everyone else not in the immediate neighbourhood enjoys approximately the status of gated community dwellers - content to ignore the troublemakers as long as they don't show up inside the gates and the shit lands in someone else's lap.

Suddenly the costs of Iran dragging people into a fight have been spread around, a lot. Current administrations in Israel and the US might not care as much as some people think they ought to.

Another cybersecurity breach, but bigger.

Got to wonder how long they had access if that's the real amount of data. At 1Gbps it would have taken 35 days to transfer all of that.

Ummm...that is not at all what the OP said. He said, and I agree - that this is a failure of command decisions above the military. Having served with the US in echelons above reality my belief is founded on experience.

I admire your predeliction for seeing everything through a partisan lens. Sure does provide a short cut to any conclusion one wishes to jump to
I was adding to what Brihard was saying. That some above the military echelons and their supporters (read talking heads) are trying to spin this as all part of the plan and all good.

I’ll leave your bottom comment where it belongs and won’t even bother addressing it.
