But here's a burning building, Grok suggests it's the real deal. Comments suggest a 62% chance of regime change so not a gimme for sure...
maybe yes maybe no. Some of the leadership may be bailing out but the revolutionary guard is still there and they have nowhere to go unless they want to volunteer for service in Ukraine, I guess. Certainly Putin would take them in. But having nowhere to go means they have nothing to lose and that doesn't look good for finding a reasonable solution

I wont share the video going around but Iranian forces opened fire on protestors last night, reports the death toll is in the hundreds, if not thousands. Some bases also have been taken over by protestors, battle lines might be getting drawn now.

Apparently some thousand or so civilians were killed overnight, more arrested by the IRGC, but it's not deterring the people, My wife's friend mom is Iran, apparently the IRGC brought in thugs from Iraq speaking Arabic to fight the civilians.

Signs of that already, IRGC bases have been over taken, and pokice stations to in several areas. For anyone following, many military members have quality posted over the last few months symbols of the old Shah, and expressed anti gov views. The time may come soon where they make their move against the IRGC

State media later referred to the demonstrators as “terrorists,” setting the stage for a violent crackdown as in other protests in recent years.
Protesters are “ruining their own streets ... in order to please the president of the United States,” the 86-year-old Khamenei said to a crowd at his compound in Tehran. “Because he said that he would come to their aid. He should pay attention to the state of his own country instead.”
Iran’s judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei separately vowed that punishment for protesters “will be decisive, maximum and without any legal leniency.”

Late night statement released by the EU, Canada, and Australia. Calling on the regime, particularly IRGC and Basij, to stop the killings and arbitrary use of force. It must be really brewing up to merit a multinational comment at this hour- later still in Europe.
