Iran Super Thread- Merged

I was just commenting last night how I feel less informed now with all this information available because I have no sense of what is real. And it is worse with all these AI generated pictures and stories.

Now here's a funny thing. And us just talking about information control, reliability and influence affairs. And then this turns up. When the Ayatollahs and the IRGC couldn't control the output from home they pulled the plug on their servers.

And the Scots Nationalists went dark.

....

I haven't seen our Hamas fellow travellers inour streets recently. Have their sites gone dark as well?

...

Disruption is the goal. That is all.

Not sure any of us have mentioned it in this thread in the past week but it looks like Iran’s currency has essentially completely collapsed on foreign exchange markets. I’m not sure if there even are any still relevant figures on inflation right now given the rapidly developing events.

That's certainly another indicator this could be the real collapse.

If anyone did believe the regime and the currency can recover from this, and it was possible to buy Iranian Rial, you would think financial institutions would take advantage of this and buy it up while it's essentially worthless.

This is looking like it's going to be a massive hyperinflation / humanitarian nightmare for the Iranian people.

Not a ton to base this on yet but I’m reading of both the U.S. and potentially UK pulling non-essential personnel out of Al Udeid airbase in Qatar, likely in anticipation of Iran trying to absolutely flatten it.

This is the kind of indicator I think we’d watch for as strikes become imminent…

Tehran is eight and a half hours ahead of Eastern Time.

An increase in bookings at high end hotels in Paris would also be a pretty good indicator IMHO ;)

Iranian elite reportedly seeking exit strategy
The family of former President Hassan Rouhani and the speaker of Iran’s parliament are among those said to be seeking French visas.

Officials within the Iranian leadership are seeking safe haven in Europe, a French-Iranian journalist told the French press.

“Since precisely 24 hours ago, several personalities from the reformist clan have requested visas. Or at least are attempting, via a Parisian lawyer, to obtain French visas for their families,” Emmanuel Razavi, who specializes in Mideast affairs, told FigaroVox, a site of French paper Le Figaro, on Thursday.

3 destroyers and a sub have sailed into the region.

The Justice Minister has also just given the Iranian people reason to go all in, little to lose with any leniency off the table. The Kurds were already starting to go kinetic so armed resistance might begin kicking off within the general population now.

95 Billion USD in the Ayatollah's estate.

I wonder if the need for cash is another reason for the Free Palestine mobs to have gone quiet. They aren't being paid. And they aren't receiving any instructions since the Ayatollah pulled the plug on the internet.

I’d tell them to go to Russia.

Game plan...

Herd Khamenei, Assad, Maduro, Putin, Kim and Xi into one location.

CRINK-V

CRINK is driven by the Chinese economy.

How stressed is China now?

Russia is tied down in Ukraine for the forseeable.

North Korea can be managed by the South and Japan.

Iran is struggling.

Venezuela is under caution.
Cuba and Nicaragua are dead letters.
Panama is back in US hands.

Bases are disappearing.
Energy sources are drying up.
Allies are less active internationally.
Info ops may have reached the limits of their effectiveness.

Xi may be struggling to find good news for his politburo.

We are approaching the tail end of the Davidson Window. April-May and October-November are the short periods every year where the seas are calm enough in the strait to facilitate a shot at Taiwan.
