A week ago they were leaking how he said they could do it quick and how he advocated for decapitation.
It's not even just the decision to attack. We're seeing how ideology trumped competence. They didn't take up Ukraine's counter drone offer before because the leader has a crush on Putin. They didn't move the ARG into theatre earlier because "No boots on the ground.". Heck, SecWar says this is a jihad.....err crusade. Maybe that's why he didn't think planning NEO and securing FOB was important.
Now the bullshit is catching up they are panicking. Since Trump doesn't allow admitting mistakes they have no idea how to show enough contrition to save their careers without getting fired or losing the base. So they are leaking to the press about how they are innocent. Next up they leak blame about each other to the press like a bunch of catty bitches.
Lol. After this he's toast. He can't keep the base if he blames Trump. And nobody else is going to vote for him after this.
You know they'll be running. And the best part is that they can claim they're the real anti-war candidates. And they'll be endorsed by Dad. Ivanka will be the first female POTUS.
