That's a tough one for me. I've been a supporter of Israel going back to the 1967 war. I mostly still am considering the distain that I have for their opponents. I'd like to think that this would be beneath them but am not sure of them as much as I used to be.Interesting sub-point here, @FJAG : The Trump regime is not that degenerate (I agree), but what about the Netanyahu one? Is it possible that the US was fed incorrect information on purpose?
There are only two working EC130 left as the capability shifted to the Gulfstream version. Both were at PS Airbase. Both claimed as damaged with no proof and we’ll probably never see it confirmed either.I've heard a lot of talk but no solid confirmation yet, unlike the E-3.
The last sentence about retribution - if the man was capable of a coherent statement with the sorrowful list of specific bloodthirsty terrorism examples- could give him enough domestic and maybe some international support, to propel the war for months. And perhaps to even be much more vicious about it.
Yellow cake, cough cough, yellow cake from Niger.......Interesting sub-point here, @FJAG : The Trump regime is not that degenerate (I agree), but what about the Netanyahu one? Is it possible that the US was fed incorrect information on purpose?

Is the world community ok with the terrorist IRCG holding them hostage on energy?
Were they holding the world hostage on energy on Feb 20th?Is the world community ok with the terrorist IRCG holding them hostage on energy?
That's my point. People desperate to pin war crimes on the US get worked up about every incident that looks like it has potential, to the point of pretending they ought to initially take seriously the claims of governments like Hamas and Iran's despite the long, long histories of misuse of protections and fabrication of evidence and egregious violations of their own. The starting assumption should be that it's either bullshit or a chain of errors. The closest they should hope to come to a crime is some kind of criminal negligence at some point in the event chain.Even the Trump regime is not that degenerate.
No. However the world generally recognizes the chain of events and decision makers that led to this point. The world is equally hostage to U.S. foreign policy decisions. The world also recognizes that Iran is likely to retain the ability to threaten shipping in the SoH and the Persian Gulf indefinitely, and that the threat will only recede when conditions change such that Iran no longer wants to do that. Those geopolitical factors are outside of the control of most other countries besides the U.S., Israel and Iran.Is the world community ok with the terrorist IRCG holding them hostage on energy?
Interesting point in and of itself, but is EVERYONE in the "world community" being held hostage, thoughIs the world community ok with the terrorist IRCG holding them hostage on energy?
I am trying to envision a westernized country that has such uniformity of thought among the people in all agencies across all administrations that it could prevent such an explosive fact from being leaked eventually, if not immediately, by someone not in accord with the government of the day. If it isn't heard, it probably doesn't exist. That said, I can't conceive of any up side for Israel to have deliberately fed false information of that nature - I only see down sides for them. Negligently, perhaps. But then I don't know as to whether this information originated with Israel or the CIA or some other US government intelligence agency.
Fixed it for you. They are tied at the hip on this one.No. However the world generally recognizes the chain of events and decision makers that led to this point. The world is equally hostage to U.S.-Israeli- foreign policy decisions. The world also recognizes that Iran is likely to retain the ability to threaten shipping in the SoH and the Persian Gulf indefinitely, and that the threat will only recede when conditions change such that Iran no longer wants to do that. Those geopolitical factors are outside of the control of most other countries besides the U.S., Israel and Iran.
Japan - there's a western country for you.I am trying to envision a westernized country that has such uniformity of thought among the people in all agencies across all administrations that it could prevent such an explosive fact from being leaked eventually, if not immediately, by someone not in accord with the government of the day.
