When in the recruting process is the whole "cadet" thing going to come into play. I want to join but i really dont want to do cadets. No disrespect to cadets its just im a little to busy to do the whole thing especially if youre *treated* like a di*k

Not doing cadets wont hinder you much.
especially if youre like a di*k
I suggest you clarify your meaning, because that does not sound friendly.

Why would cadets come into play in the recruiting process?  CFRC does not process cadets...unless you are talking about CIC Officers.

I believe he's saying that he doesnt want to be if you are treated bad by the higher ranks. "like a dink". Of course if you cant hack the treatment in cadets.....you cant hack the military.

to whom would you be reffering to by this statement?
My freinds in the nearest unit who are all Cpl's Sgts say they make fun of the new recruits and privates just so they dont get made fun of. Apparently youre not allowed to be nice.

If you mean your cadet friends - if they were doing this, it would really need to be addressed because that is way not cool - being in cadets for 7 yrs, that's not what happens.
Now if you're talking about being a cadet then joining the military- it can help you in that it gives you a glimpse into the military.  - You don't go around saying "In the cadets we did it this way..." that will get you bugged by your instructors. But if being in cadets helps you to help out your buddies, then so be it.

and if you meant if you have to go to cadets then the military, then no you don't.

Alright thanks i might just join a different unit...maybe air cadets, can i do that and then join army

you can do anything you want. Joinig cadets has nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with joining the CF. It might help you when you join the CF that you know a little drill or watever. If you don't want to join cadets don't, if you do great! Just be advised,

Being a cadet can also give you six months towards your first promotion.  Ask a recruiter to look it up.
