As lessons to future generations of JAG lawyers. "Ignorance of the law does not excuseth someone for non-compliance". Obama should know this. He came from Harvard Law School.

I have it on good authority that the CF JAG office has numerous examples of that lesson that don't involve foreign leaders and questionable and half-baked  ideas as to what constitutes overthrowing a foreign government

. . .  We respect the constittutionally mandated Parliament Hill. . . .

The requirement to have a "hill" is in our constitution?  Amazing!  I never knew that.  I thought hills were just geological and topographical features.  Was this hill built following the British North America Act or was this elevation created before the selection of Ottawa as the nation's capital?  Or did the Fathers of Confederation look around for an already existing hill ?  If they had selected a site closer to the river, would it now be called Parliament Beach?

Kingston was the first capital, and it had the mandatory hill....but Fort Henry was already on it and the occupants refused to leave....

I'm still trying to figure out how the criminal code of Venezuela, the Communist Party of USA, some poet and free health care in public hospitals in Chicago all link together to equal Obama inciting the people of Egypt to overthrow Mubarak let alone why the JAG office of the CF would consider looking into it.

Somethings fishy here, better get Geraldo Rivara to look into this!

I should never have quit smoking pot. This would probably make a LOT more sense after sparkin' a jiff.

A tequila would go down nice about now.

 :off topic:

I apologize for introducing the Mexican equation into this discusion.

Obama says "the Egyptian people are his source of inspiration".

And he should be inspired by his people.
Is he ?
from wikipedia:Hosni Mubarak
----> Corruption <----

Obama says absolutely nothing regarding world affairs off the cuff. For him to make such a quote is evidence
of the sound advice offered to him from his own counsellors.

I'll approach the topic seriously.  Since when is criticizing a dictator a conspiracy to overthrown him?

Is it in fact illegal in the U.S. to work toward the overthrow of governments?  I thought it was business as usual, witness endless examples up to and including Iraq.

Regardless of the situation, Democrats have immunity in the courts and with the press in the U.S., as in "I did not have sex with that woman."  Obama could leave a trail of dead hookers and be forgiven.

And what does the Communist Party in Venezuela have to do with anything?

Sir, please read the newspaper 24H. It is published daily together with the exact words of Obama ...

Just because this thread amused me so.....

here is the link to 24H
http://24hrs.ca/

Being the highly reputable newspaper it is... right up there with the weekly world news, and the Star.......  Actually, I never thought I'd say this, but the Star does have more cred then this rag...

It's a Free newspaper... far to the left.... waayyy far to the left, and I used to read it for shiggles when I worked security at a hotel in downtown TO....

Today's big front page headlines....

- Beiber Fever
- Student tossed over lip piercing
- and how to dress like a star (feat Hedi Klum)

oh, and somewhere on page 10 is something about Egypt....

The paper is a whopping 24 pages long... last last 4 or so are all classifieds, and every page is like 15-20% Adverts...

This news paper is a Giant Joke....

Doesn't the OP have a G20 Protest to go to or something?

And remember, Pass the Dutchie to the left hand side!

The main problem I have with 24 is the quality of the crossword and sudoku.  At least with Metro I might not finish them both by the end of the bus ride, 24, almost always.
