That pack board she has, it looks like a metal version of the WWII US Plywood packboard (M1942?) I would love better pics and info as the one pic below is the best I have ever seen.

I have heard about this thing for ages, but never seen a semi-good pic until now. Whenever I saw pics of IDF troops with packboards, I too for granted that they were metal. it was not until I bought my WWII US one that I realized those were Plywood. But References in Osprey books indicated IDF troops used an aluminum or other metalic packboard and I Know US Army and USMC used them in vietnam to a limitedextent, which I had always assumed would be impossible with a plywood packboard; I figured they would rot away.
