Little solid info yet, but multiple reports and some initial photo/video of strikes in Tehran and elsewhere in Iran. Iranian airspace is empty of commercial. I feel pretty comfortable speculating that this is the long expected Israeli reprisal.

I’m not so sure. Both sides are being purposefully non-escalatory.

This is the “tit for tat” stage still - as @brihard said, with Israel demonstrating they can conduct precision strikes into Tehran as opposed to the barrage seen earlier this month.

I’m seeing lots of shares of what look to be quite precise strikes on apartment buildings in Tehran. I suspect the first wave of hits have included targeted assassinations of key leadership.

This account appears to report on Iran, probably from outside of it. His stuff has generally seemed balanced in the past- I don’t believe he’s pro-regime. Twitter generally translates his posts quite readably.
