JAG Recruiting Process Question

Having called the local CFRC, I understand that the JAG recruiting process may be somewhat different from the normal DEO process.  Kincanucks, can you shed some light on what to expect?

Also, having spoken with a Res AJAG recently, I have been advised that RES AJAGs are currently eligible to CT to the regs right now with little difficulty.  Are you able to confirm or deny?

Yet another question:  how does a current reservist (non JAG) join the reg force as a AJAG? What is the likelihood that I while have to do a reg force BOTC/IAP given that I am reg force CAP qualified (but did reserve BMQ and BOTP)?

I intend to head to the recruiting centre for a chat on Monday but thought you might be able to cast some light on things before I got there.

Thanks for your time.

This has been answered before but it is different in that the JAG holds supplementary interviews with the applicants after they have made the initial selection in Borden.

Also, having spoken with a Res AJAG recently, I have been advised that RES AJAGs are currently eligible to CT to the regs right now with little difficulty.  Are you able to confirm or deny? I am sure that RES JAGS have the same opportunity to CT as any other trade.

Yet another question:  how does a current reservist (non JAG) join the reg force as a AJAG? What is the likelihood that I while have to do a reg force BOTC/IAP given that I am reg force CAP qualified (but did reserve BMQ and BOTP)? You have a law degree, experience and are a member of your provincial law society in good standing. As to whether you have to do IAP/BOTP will have to be determined by Borden.

Thanks very much for your help.

I am not sure I understand the CT/recruiting process for AJAGs but I will speak with the local CFRC on Monday.
