Recently, while doing some research for my Arabic class I happened to come across a site that may be of interest to many of you. I can't quite fully express the uneasy feeling I got while viewing it's pages and perusing it's content, of which it has much to offer, albeit from a decidedly different point of view than my own.

Some of the so called 'highlights' of the site are daily reports from the front-line Mujahideen as well as the Al Qaeda Strategy to the Year 2020. I realise there are many sites out there of this nature but this one seems to be very thorough in it's document collections and archives.

With a tagline of 'Jihad Unspun: News that let's you decide' it seems to take a very biased point of view towards the global war on terror.

And the uneasy feeling I got while reading the site...what else can I say but Canadian owned and operated.(Bev Giesbrecht aka. Khadija Abdul Qahaar ,a muslim convert and Vancouver resident )

I didn't post this site because I thought others would chime in with their feelings on this type of content coming out of Canada (suffice to say i know how i feel and it ain't good )...I'm hoping that perhaps others, currently more involved than I in the War on Terror can gain a better perspective of the enemy and a more thorough understanding of how to defeat him.

They're a well noted propaghanda site, and on the radar. It's also telling that they would put the CBC and the BBC on their link page.

Fortunately, they post articles like this, where they claim that terrorists have shot down 11 F-16. Somewhat comical, really.

Propaganda site is an understatement, I couldn't help but chuckle to myself a few times as I read through some of it's pages. As far as links to the CBC and the BBC, well, that certainly adds fuel to the fire regarding the media bias that others around here have so eloquently elluded to!

I like the footage from the so-called "Zidan Expedition" - if the driver was willing to do the martyrdom-thing the cameraman certainly wasn't.  He may as well have filmed the action through the Hubble telescope he was so far away.

US State Department have begun to suggest a long and tedious battle with the Mujahideen in Iraq, a collapse of their position in Afghanistan, and similar developments in Iran, southern Iraq and Pakistan.

They have not lost their the position in Afghanistan, I would think things are going very well in Afganistan.
