Joe Biden Pardons his son

Pages here too of people making excuses for Trump…

Don’t kid yourself. There are plenty of podcasts, web pages etc defending everything including pardons that Trump does.

While I understand why Biden has pardoned his son, I definitely don’t like it. Trump’s pardons span a variety of people convicted of various crimes but who are politically loyal to him. He even literally pardoned war criminals. It sucks that Biden’s actions now dim the light that would cause those other pardons to cast long shadows. If Trump goes and pardons a bunch of the Jan 6 seditionists now, the reply will just be “but Hunter!”

The author makes the case that the US presidency has all the powers that the British monarchy had at the time of the revolution. Since then, the monarch’s powers have increasingly been taken over by Parliament. The President’s powers have increased significantly in that time period.

I doubt history will remember Joe and Jill kindly...

I think their decision to run for POTUS, and First Lady, in 2020 was selfish.

When their son Hunter Biden was “turning” their grieving daughter-in-law into a crack addict.

The President really has no power other than to sign bills. There is no constitutional right to Executive Orders and half the shit that Presidents have been doing for decades. The issue is the House and Senate aren’t doing their jobs and calling the President out on it.
