Hey I want to join the Reserves here in my city, Brantford Ontario, until I graduate when I'm going to join regular forces. But my question is where do I apply for the reserve force, do I gotta go to the recruiting centre in Hamilton or do I talk to someone located in my city? Thanks!

EDIT: Also is the basic training the same as regular forces or is it a little different?

The 56th Field Artillery Regiment is an artillery regiment with batteries in Brantford, Simcoe and St. Catharines.

Address:
56th Field Artillery Regiment
Sergeant William Merrifield VC Armoury
18 Brant Ave.
Brantford, ON
N3T 3G5

Phone: (519)-752-1642

Good luck

Thanks a lot, but do you know if the reserves training is different from the regular forces?

Army Reserve BMQ and BMQ-L is shorter then the Reg Force courses.  As well certain trades(Cbt Arms for example) QL3/DP1 courses are shorter and may not cover the same POs then the Regular Force QL3/DP1.

There is plenty of reading on the forum to answer all yur questions.
Good luck.
