Today, on the phone I had a really nice chat with the recruiter for (I believe 709 - Toronto) Communications Regiment in Fort York Armory.
He told me that they will get fresh vacancy data (I think that's what he called it) on April 1st and until then I should do some research on the 3 units in the Fort York.
Now those being communications (709 Communications Regiment) , infantry (The Royal Regiment of Canada), and armored reconnaissance (Queens York Rangers). I was wondering if anyone knew any good links or such, where I can read up on what it's like to be a part of those units. He also told me about the parade nights, so I'm going sometime soon.
I was also wondering about how hard is it to pass physical (and what I'll have to do for it and whether I need to pass it to join reserves).
I kind of out of shape, but the 2 months should be enough to get me back in shape.
