That was fantastic!
Scary part is video NEVER does the actual wave justice.I have video taped some HUGE waves only to come home and watch the video and be disappointed.

Nice Camera setup as well.

Cripes. I was tooling around in my 18ft sea kayak kayak near Victoria last month and came across something like that between the mainland and Trial Island. It seemed pretty innocuous at first then, as it pulled me sideways even though I was paddling at 'maximum warp', I realized that mother nature is not to be f*cked with. Yes, adrenalin is brown, and it can get you out of some tough spots!

A couple of years ago I was serioulsy checking out some kayak tours in Belize, never got around to taking oneĀ  tough. Pity Belikin beer ain't too bad and some great hot sauces made there.

These days the only kayaking I seem to get is those dinky plastic resort ones, working up a thirst as I head over to the all inclusive swim bar. ;D
