Unless there is a high-profile public appearance planned, it wouldn't matter. I'm not sure it would be enough to counter the images of him wearing a Dodger's hat that everybody saw.

It would be fun if they could plan an 'appreciation' parade for the Blue Jays while he is in town, and invite him.

You have to take into account that it is over five years, with numerous trips per year, and while he hadn't renounced royal duties, which happened after he married.

If we could see this broken up on cost per trip, I bet it is reasonable. Also comparing to the overall cost for the approximately 100 persons requiring protection in Canada during that five year period is sensationalist journalism since they don't provide how many of the people on that list visited Canada during that period and how often.

A better metric would be the actual cost per visit. The King's visit with consort (sorry! I will never call Camilla queen) cost is the only one provided on a visit basis. It is $130,000. So basically, the overall figure for Harry is four times that, but for how many trips over that five year period?

I am just not getting worked up over this. Seems pretty normal to me.
