My name is Brenda Morrow, and I am the grand daughter of Gunner David Vessey. In case you don't know or remember him, he served in the 81st field regiment in Korea.
Also, if you haven't met him, but served, or currently serve, and wish to send him a card / letter, that would be great!! This would make his birthday extra special and one he would always remember.
He is a very special person to me. He is also turning 80 in January. I have decided to throw him a surprise 80th birthday party!! Of course, I am trying to make this very special for him. I know you may not be able to attend, but it would be wonderful if you could send a letter or a birthday card to him from you!! I'm sure that would make his day extra special, and he will treasure every card he receives! If you can attend, you are more than welcome.
Keep in mind that this will all be a surprise, so to avoid him becoming suspicious, I ask that all mail be sent to him, care of me, at my residence, so that I can take any cards/letters he receives to the venue the day of the party! They will remain unopened so that he can open them.
