LAW AND ARMY, NEED HELP

Hey,when i was 18 i got in trouble with the law, i got a conditional discharge what means i didn‘t get convited or anything of a charge, the judge just said u made a mistake don‘t do it again be good, i had to do community service and it was done when i was 1, i am now 20. Will I still get into the resverves?

In the old day‘s the court‘s had the ability to send young offender‘s to the Army!
Yes here in Canada we did it up untill the late 70‘s if I remember right.

At present I know of one man of rank who came in that way and he‘s one damb good soldier!
He‘s a Soldier‘s Soldier!!!
Look‘s after his men and is respected by all including Officer‘s.

I‘ve met a few in the my early day‘s who were sent from the court‘s and most did very well and came out A1 and became very good Snr/N.C.O.‘s in the end.

I wish we still had it,may be would not have the trouble we have to day with kid‘s.
