I wouldnt be shocked if LCBOs get retrofitted like MLCCs did in Manitoba where you have to show ID before getting in to the store - theft dropped 97%
I don't know if it is on Doug Ford's to-do list, but it would certainly help. A province-wide realignment would work better than their ham-fisted earlier attempt at a pilot project involving three locations with high indigenous populations.

I was in a MLCC store a few days back, and had forgotten about the ID thing. It was a few seconds of digging out and ID, then a pleasant shopping experience.

I think Ontario going that route would be a reasonable choice.

Just bring back Prohibition. No one under 30 would notice.

The area just north of ours had Prohibition into the 21st Century.

High Park , including our local restaurant, still has it.
