Wont be long before kicked out party members could start thier own party....

Ramesh Sangha has been booted from the Liberal caucus after making “baseless and dangerous accusations against a number of his caucus colleagues,” according to a Monday press release from Chief Government Whip Mark Holland.

“As soon as the Chief Government Whip was made aware of these accusations, he consulted with the Prime Minister, and the necessary steps were taken. As of this afternoon, Mr. Sangha has been removed from the Liberal caucus,” read the release, issued Monday afternoon.

Global News pressed Holland’s office for details of the context of the accusations, but no further information was provided.

Yes.

They would do just as well as the Peoples Party I imagine.

Well they did invite a convicted Khalistani terrorist to an official dinner.
And they have been criticized by indian Government leaders for allegedly covering for the Khalistani movement.

This smells a lot like the Tamil Tigers problems the Liberals had a decade ago
and may continue still as a current Liberal MP has been accused by opponents as being linked to the Tigers

Harper had his own issues with supporting the (very wealthy) Tamil community in Canada.

You know, the Tamil Tigers, those guys that pretty much invented the 'suicide bomber' - with a cyanide capsule around the neck just in case Plan A didn't do the job? At least they were gender inclusive :)

I likely would have given this article more credence if it had been penned by an author who is presenting an unbiased/ balanced view. Max Berger is an Immigration Lawyer. To make one analogy, he not only has a dog in the fight, but owns kennels, shares in a dog food company, and likely influences veterinarians.

His arguments only make sense from his part of the divide, and it could be said that he is committing the exact same pandering that he accuses former PM Harper of to get votes, instead of votes he is seeking clients.

Never accept an altruist at first glance, or second, third, or even fourth. And always be looking over your shoulder for them, self-declared altruists are legion.

Was it to pander to the Tamils or was it because the Sri Lankan government is barely better, if at all? Sometimes neither side is worth supporting.
