Hmmm...

  So we revert to our role as "peacekeepers", spend a fortune "rebuilding Afghanistan", then hand over the keys to the Taliban and head home?  I believe the real problem for the Libs and the NDP is that they honestly have no idea of what policy to advocate on Afghanistan.

I believe they refer to it as "fence sitting" or "being politically correct"...if you don't have an answer then no one can ever blame you for anything...
How quickly people forget what the Liberal govt did to this wonderful country in 12 years...lol I can't stand a one of them...the Liberals left a bad taste in my mouth, that isn't soon going away.

HDE: Most Canadians, including politicians and the media, have paid no attention to what the CF have actually been doing and live in a happy land of myth.  They have all essentially forgotten the combat mission in Afstan in 2002.

Like the Dutch at Srbrenica? But who remembers that?  Now the Dutch are in Afstan--for two years--with Chinooks, Apaches, and F-16s. Having learned and now helping us.  Ever see that in the Canadian media?

Actually I suspect that Bill Graham and Ignatiaff are the only ones there with a clue. Either might actually make a half assed decent PM.
