Logistic Officer questions

What are the other options you had? If you are a Air Force LogO is it easy to be posted in Ottawa?
If you want to stay in Ottawa, stay in the Reserves. You will not spend your full career in Ottawa in the RegF.

I completely understand that. I want to do ROTP and I want to have my first posting in Ottawa. What are the possibilities for this happening as a LogO or a communication and electrical engineering?

CELE could be any Air Force base in Canada. LogO could be any Army, Navy or Air Force base in Canada. Roads eventually lead to Ottawa (especially as an Officer) but a good majority level positions are outside of it for most if not all trades.

I am in the Army Reserves and I want to do this full-time after I am done Uni. Do you happen to know how the change would be to get ROTP? I am doing BMQ over the week-ends now, will I have to re-do everything within the BMQ?

Couldn't tell you about day to day work life for CELE.

If you are in the PRes as a NCM, unless you have PLQ you will need to complete BMOQ in the RegF. If you are an officer and doing PRes BMOQ and transfer to the RegF post degree, it's called DEO and you'll be likely just start at trade training.

You won't do ROTP if you already have your degree. You would be a DEO applicant, and would be doing a CT from reserves and a CFR application to commission. You would need to contact the BPSO I believe to get started.
