long delays

I applied last summer for the Reserves, I passed my aptitude test and the interview, however I needed a medical clearance. I "THINK" my file has been closed as I was away for a few months (I did inform the recruiting team beforehand). Will I need to start over>

You should not have too start all over again. It is suggested that you contact your local "Reserve Detachment" to inquire about your application. They will be able to give you a more accurate answer and at least point you in the right direction.
