Lost UAB... reimbursement?

I was medically repatriated from afghanistan approximately 4 and a half months ago. The army has misplaced my rucksack after I dropped it off at CMTT in KAF. The records show it has made its way to Trenton however no one knows where it is. My question is due to the fact that I flew home through a civillian airliner and couldnt exactly bring a lot of my own personal material through customs of the Host Nation of Camp Mirage, will I be reimbursed for my personal affects that have gone missing along with my rucksack? That is assuming my UAB is not found, as it was recently put on the lost UAB system.

Thanks

Best bet it ask through your CoC but I'm sure our resident binrats supply techs will be along shortly to shed some light on this matter.

Ref: Compensation for Loss or Damage to Personal Property DAOD 7004-2  http://admfincs.mil.ca/admfincs/subjects/daod/7004/2_e.asp

The intranet link above has all the information required for a Claim including the forms to list what personal possessions were lost.

Just to add to Runner's post above, anything issued to you (i.e. on your clothing docs) you should proceed to your nearest Clothing Stores and obtain an MLR. Your lost kit will be replaced at no cost to you. Ensure the CoC is followed...

In addition to my last... I have found my packing list for my ruck sack. However according to my packing list I have lost 2 sets of Tan combats, as I had 3 sets I had placed in my rucksack, and I only marked down one. At this time I was on a lot of pain, and shrink medication as I was being medically repatriated, and I do remember putting 3 sets in the ruck, but I dont remember marking down 1 set. Off the top of my head that is the only discrepancy I have for kit I'm missing at what I had put on the packing list.

I'm not too concerned about the army making me pay for that, because I have medical documentation to show what kind of shape I was in at the time, and what kind of drugs I was on. So that being said, should I put the  the discrepancy 2 sets of combats on the MLR or am I going to have to fill out a lost kit report and have my CoC sign it off for me so I don't have to pay...

We understand that you are issued 3 sets of tan uniforms. If you say you packed them in your ruck then you packed them in your ruck. Put all 3 sets (as long as they are in fact in your lost ruck) on your MLR. It goes without saying though, that if your ruck is ever recovered it completely goes to Clothing Stores, right?
