Well I found that alot of time is spent on your kniees (keep your mind out of the gutter), right now I'm making some, painting wise...just wondering if anyone eles has made some, or bought some? comments of them on exercise..BTW I will try to post some pics of them, they are just drying

Some of the boys used to put stiff foam under the extra layer of the wind pant knees. I never did - paying for it now though!

You'd probably be further ahead just buying some. If you can't afford a good set of Hatch's or similar, just get some of the ones at a hardware supply for installing carpet and such.

I got a set of OD Hatch kneepads, cost me $18. Pretty good kneepads too.

I got some knee pads at the local wholesale/ flea market type store for 5 dollars, spray paint em black or olive and ta da.

Havent any of you been issued the Elbow and Knee pads.

I'd hand them back if I was issued those pieces of junk again.
I like my hatches, but I always find I get problems with rash marks on the back of your legs from the straps, so I'm looking to purchase a pair of those clip on knee pads I've seen. maybe that'll be the trick.

Dave's Surplus out of New Westminster has Alta kneepads in Cadpat.  Similar in style to the Hatch kneepads.  Has the new Magnum Desert boots too... I am saving for a pair as I type...

I bought an adult rollerblading pad set from Canadian Tire, $23

They are black so I only had to use some camo paint to cover the white CCM logo.

I give you <a href=http://army.ca/forums/threads/22065.0.html>The Infinite Wisdom of <b>Bossi</b></a> on this very subject.
